28th NAMA Convention Report, Chicago IL, 2019
The 28th North American Manipur Association(NAMA) Annual Convention was held in Chicago, Illinois on July 5-6, 2019. Theconvention was attended by people from different parts of North America. Thisevent highlighted NAMA’s continued efforts to bring different Manipuri diasporaof different ethnicities together. NAMA was founded on July 4th, 1992 inBrooklyn, NY with the aim of fostering and promoting social, cultural,educational heritage of the people of Manipur in the North American continentand to defend any just cause that affects them.
The next Annual Convention will take place inNew Jersey. We encourage everyone to be part of NAMA.
